During this course, participants will learn how INFORMative assessment practices can improve math achievement. How to effectively and efficiently determine what students know and don’t know will be explored.  Too often we only think of data collecting as testing.  We can collect data and determine what students know and do now yet know through listening, observing, examining and questioning. Digital tools and other strategies for collecting information on where students are in their learning will be a powerful component of this workshop. Participants will also learn strategies to use this data in an intentional way to determine “now what”, or the next instructional steps that are best for improving math achievement. This workshop will leave you with a framework that will ground your math instruction in the future!
