This course is about increasing students' reading comprehension and guiding them to understand their own meta-cognitive learning processes so they can transfer them to other content areas. In this course, we will identify the importance of teaching reading strategically, explore "how-to" steps to teach from a strategic perspective, and examine key strategies that span content and grade level.
