This course is a reading methods course for any teacher who wishes to deepen students' comprehension and engagement with challenging informational text. This course will teach you how to help any reader by modifying lesson structure, teaching and modeling comprehension strategies, and employing fix-up strategies when comprehension breaks down. Note: This course was formerly titled Supporting Readers with Textbooks.

This course is for 3rd-8th Grade Teachers.
