This course is designed to prepare educators to effectively and enthusiastically integrate the new geography content standards adopted in 2021. It begins with an overview of foundational geography concepts before comparing/contrasting the old and new geography standards. It emphasizes the many facets of geography in ways you may have never thought about and provides you with great resources to easily integrate geography into your teaching day!  The concluding activity asks participants to create a lesson that integrates geography with other content areas so everyone will have a usable product to implement in their classroom!
