Pre-requisite: Introduction to Foundational Skills and Montana Content Standards. This course falls into the Foundational Skills and the MCS for Elementary Schools pathway. Targeted at teachers for grades 1-5, this course will aid participants in assessing, planning to teach, teaching, and re-assessing phonics and word recognition. Upon completion participants will have a bank of strategy cards and practices to be used immediately in the classroom with students.
