UPDATE: The Office of Public Instruction values high-quality, evidence-based professional development and would like to communicate that it is updating its procedures for approving professional development providers to better align with the Administrative Rules of Montana Items 10.55.714, 10.57.215, 10.57.215, 10.16.3135, and 10.55.60.

We are pleased to announce that under the new protocol, providers will have the opportunity to achieve elevated provider statuses under a tiered system. We have temporarily paused our acceptance of new provider applications as we update our system. We are only approving P-12 Public School Districts as providers at this time. All current providers will be required to reapply under the new application and system protocols.

We expect to re-open the application and renewal process to all current and prospective providers beginning January 2nd, 2025.
