In this course, we will explore the social aspects of culture and how they impact language. As teachers, we are tasked with teaching diverse learners who come from wildly different cultural backgrounds. Sometimes, knowing how to reach linguistically and culturally diverse students can be challenging, especially if we define culture with a narrow scope.
